Our Spiritual Cosmos course is back! Join us to learn and experience the ancestral intersection of spirituality and space. This course is an invitation to connect with the Cosmos but also with to connect with the Universe deep within.
From ancient shamanic practices to the religions and rituals in current space missions, you will learn the multiple ways in which humanity has sought to connect with the celestial vault. As you gain a comprehensive understanding of this interdisciplinary and historical relationship, we will invite you to awaken your own intimate connection with the Universe.
The course will be accompanied by various readings and exercises. This includes the experience of trance states and meditative journeys. The course encourages participants to develop a ritual throughout the course and to share with the other participants.

.Learn the history of religion and spirituality in space activities, tracing its development from cosmism to contemporary religious practices involving astronauts.
.Engage in exercises involving hypnosis and meditation to experience trance states, enabling you to connect more deeply with the Universe with inner and outer body experiences.
.Learn how to design and perform a personal space ritual that can allow you to connect with the Universe in a meaningful way, including the principles of ritual creation and how to integrate them into your own spiritual practice.
Commitment
Participants are expected to attend all four sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours. If you cannot attend one of the classes, we will provide you with a recording of the class upon request.
Due to the nature of this course, we ask for respect and deep listening to other worldviews and beliefs. During the course you will be encouraged to participate in guided meditations and exercises. Finally, we expect participants to develop a ritual practice that can be shared with the rest of the cohort.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
The course will be led by Nahum, Director of the KOSMICA Institute.
His work goes deep into the human experience, challenging our perceptions through unusual perspectives. He produces works that reframe the way we engage with the universe with a wide range of media. Nahum's work has been exhibited in countries such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, UK, France, Sweden, Russia, Australia, Taiwan, China, Japan and Brazil.
Nahum was chairman of the Committee for the Cultural Utilisation of Space (ITACCUS) at the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in Paris. He was the first artist to be awarded the Young Space Leader in 2014 and the Karman Fellowship in 2021 for his unique cultural contributions to astronautics and space exploration. He has designed space missions for artistic purposes with the European Space Agency, SpaceX, NASA and Roscosmos.
Since 2019, Nahum has been a Faculty Member at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France. He has given lectures at prestigious universities such as Boston University, Central Saint Martins, Tec de Monterrey, the Academy of Arts and Design in Karlsruhe, and the University of the Underground. He has been published by Penguin Books and Bloomsbury Publishing.
